Everyone that visits Belize flies into Philp S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE). Several airlines such as United, American, and Delta fly daily to BZE.  When you arrive, you will need to clear a health check, immigration, and customs.  Once those are complete there are 3 main ways to get to Placencia Village and Casa Del Sol.

1. Fly 

We highly recommend flying to Placencia.  The flight will likely be one of the highlights of your trip. It will also get you to your vacation quicker... in about 30 minutes. You can book a flight from Belize City to Placencia on one of the following airlines:

Tropic Air

Maya Island Air

Please leave at least 2 hours between when you land in Belize City and your flight to Placencia. If you get to the airline check-in gate early, and they have room on on earlier flight, they may bump you up.  If you do have some wait time in the airport don’t worry, there is a Belikin and Landshark store to help you relax and get your vacation kicked off right.

We will meet you at the Placencia airport and transport you to Casa Del Sol.

2. Shuttle

There are several shuttle services available that will pick you up at the Belize airport and bring you to Casa Del Sol. The trip is about 4 hours and is a great way to see the diverse eco-systems that make up Belize. We can help arrange a shuttle service if you would like.

3. Rental Car

Rental Car companies at the Belize airport will be happy to rent you a car for the duration of your visit. We strongly recommend that if you rent a car, that you plan to be at Casa Del Sol before dark (about a 4 hours drive). We are happy to help you arrange a rental car, and help you determine if you can arrive at Casa Del Sol before dark.
